Apple Cider Mimosa

I don’t know about you, but this Real Life Housewife likes a cocktail while she cooks.

I typically cook dinner with a glass of wine close by. But when starting our Fakesgiving meal, I am up at the crack of dawn. We typically eat around 1:30 in the afternoon, so I am rising early to get the meal going. So a morning cocktail while we prep the food and wait for family is needed.

While everyone loves a mimosa, I decided to make them a little for festive and swap out the orange juice for apple cider!

I stop at our local orchard and grabbed a gallon of their apple cider. I filled 3/4 of the champagne flute with Prosecco (my fav!),  and topped it off with 1/4 of apple cider.

This made for such a delicious drink, that I continued making them for my guests, as they arrived for the holiday. They were a huge hit with everyone! The perfect seasonal twist on a classic.

We are spending Sunday morning tailgating for our beloved Minnesota Vikings, and you can be sure that our Apple Cider Mimosas will be there too!
